WELCOME
Hi,
Temperatures are getting warmer and the days are getting longer - that means we have more time to do the things we love - beading among them! We are off to shows and classes this month and will be looking for new beads and ideas to inspire your creativity. We have some changes going on in our retail store, as well as the webstore.
Lynn the retail store manager, is moving on to new adventures. We will still work with her on a part-time basis to help with our marketing. I will take over the day to day management of the store so if you are a regular customer, you will be seeing a lot more of me. I am very excited to be back in the store on a full-time basis.
We also have a new employee, Jade. She comes to us from Colorado where she worked in a bead shop. If you are a local be sure to stop by and say hello.
On the web end of the business, Andy W. is moving to Portland this weekend and Lindsay will be taking over some of his workload. Lindsay is a full-time student who has been working part-time for the past year in both the store and filling web orders. We're happy she'll have time to devote to the website this summer.
We are always happy to improve the functionality of our own website and have made more changes based on your suggestions.
1) We have created customer accounts that will allow
easier access for our many loyal, repeat customers.
2) You will be able to log-in to your account and view past orders.
3) Your customer information will be retained to allow easier check-out.
We also have added mouse-over descriptions. This is great when you want a bit more info but don't want to click the image to see it. The downside is that it only works in Internet Explorer. Our goal is to be the #1 website for beads, so please keep the suggestions coming. Although we can't always implement them immediately, we do keep a wishlist and refer to it regularly.
