BEAD & WIRE HEART

Materials:

- 18g wire – 1 ½ feet
- 28g wire – 3 feet
- Assorted beads – approximately 50 assorted sizes
- Ribbon (optional)

Step 1 - Take the 1 ½ ft of 18 gauge wire and holding both ends, cross the wires and pull gently to create a small loop in the center.

Step 2 – Cross the wires again, the heart shape takes form. When the desired size and shape is achieved bend excess wire up.

Step 3 – Spiral off the ends of the excess wire to create a decorative effect inside the heart.

Step 4 –Take the end of the 28g wire and bind the point of the hearts leaving a long tail.

Step 5 – Add a few beads and weave the wire across the heart frame. Continue to embellish until you are satisfied.

Step 6 – Add ribbon if desired.

This heart can be used to embellish a card or package, you can wear it for Valentine's Day or you can hang in a window or from your rear view mirror!
